You can use Seedance 2.0 on AIVeed in five steps — pick a Seedance 2 model, choose how the video starts, set length and resolution, write the prompt, generate — from 50 credits, $0.25 on the $99 / 20,000-credit Business pack, for a 6-second 480p clip on Seedance 2.0 Mini (AIVeed public pricing endpoint, checked October 22, 2026; methodology).
AIVeed runs all four Seedance 2 models — Seedance 2.0 Mini, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.5 — in the AIVeed generator and over the API, on one credit balance with no subscription (AIVeed Seedance model page and Video API page, checked October 22, 2026). The prompt advice below comes from ByteDance's own Seedance 2.0 prompt guide.
How to use Seedance 2.0?
To use Seedance 2.0 on AIVeed, sign in at aiveed.io, choose a Seedance 2 model, pick text, first-and-last-frame or reference input, set the aspect ratio, length and resolution, and describe the shot; the clip is usually ready in 3 to 6 minutes (AIVeed Seedance model page, checked October 22, 2026). Finding a legitimate place to run Seedance 2.0 is the first hurdle for many people. One Hacker News user asked on August 1, 2026: Where can you actually get access to these models that isn't an outright scam? All the sites that promised to have Seedance 2 turned out to be scams. Does anyone know how to actually use it
(Hacker News, August 1, 2026). On AIVeed the steps are:
- Sign in at aiveed.io. New AIVeed accounts start with 200 free credits, and credits never expire (AIVeed pricing page, checked October 22, 2026).
- Choose a Seedance 2 model. Seedance 2.0 Mini is the cheapest, Seedance 2.0 Fast the quickest at about 3 minutes, Seedance 2.0 the only one with 1080p and 4K, and Seedance 2.5 the only one with 20- and 30-second clips (AIVeed public models endpoint, checked October 22, 2026). The table below lists each model's settings and credits.
- Choose how the video starts. Seedance 2 models on AIVeed take a text prompt alone, a first frame and optional last frame, or reference media: up to 9 images, 3 videos and 1 audio clip (AIVeed public models endpoint, checked October 22, 2026). Frames and reference media are separate modes and are not combined in one job (AIVeed API reference, checked October 22, 2026).
- Set aspect ratio, length and resolution. Seedance 2.0 Mini, Fast and 2.0 run 6, 10 or 15 seconds; Seedance 2.5 runs 6, 10, 15, 20 or 30 seconds; the credit cost follows resolution and length (AIVeed public pricing endpoint, checked October 22, 2026).
- Write the prompt and generate. Use the prompt formula below; the finished clip lands in My Videos, ready to download (aiveed.io, checked October 22, 2026).
What does Seedance 2.0 cost on AIVeed?
Seedance 2.0 on AIVeed costs from 220 credits ($1.09 on the $99 / 20,000-credit Business pack) for 6 seconds at 480p, and the Seedance 2 family starts at 50 credits ($0.25 on the Business pack) with Seedance 2.0 Mini (AIVeed public pricing endpoint, checked October 22, 2026). Every Seedance 2.0 setting is priced in our Seedance 2.0 price guide.

Which Seedance 2 model should I choose?
For a first Seedance 2.0 video, choose Seedance 2.0 Mini at 480p to test the prompt for 50 to 120 credits, then re-run the settled prompt on the model and resolution you need (AIVeed public pricing endpoint, checked October 22, 2026). Seedance 2.0 is the only Seedance 2 model on AIVeed with 1080p and 4K, where a 15-second 4K clip costs 5,000 credits ($24.75 on the Business pack), and Seedance 2.5 is the one for a single 20- or 30-second shot, at 1,000 credits ($4.95 on the Business pack) for 30 seconds at 480p (AIVeed public pricing endpoint, checked October 22, 2026). All four Seedance 2 models accept the same frame and reference inputs on AIVeed (AIVeed public models endpoint, checked October 22, 2026).
How does Seedance 2.0 work?
Seedance 2.0 reads the text prompt, images, video and audio together and splits them into a "spatial layer", what is in the frame, and a "temporal layer", how things change over time, according to ByteDance's Dreamina Seedance 2.0 series prompt guide (BytePlus ModelArk documentation, updated September 28, 2026, checked October 22, 2026). Seedance 2.0 generates sound together with the picture, so the same guide puts audio cues inside each shot description, and on the AIVeed API generated sound is on by default (AIVeed API reference, checked October 22, 2026).
How do I write a Seedance 2.0 prompt?
A Seedance 2.0 prompt works best as an instruction, not a caption: ByteDance's formula is precise subject + action details + scene + lighting and colour tone + camera movement + visual style + image quality + constraints (BytePlus ModelArk Seedance 2.0 prompt guide, checked October 22, 2026). The same ByteDance guide gives four rules that matter most for Seedance 2.0:
- Write a storyboard. Break the clip into "Shot 1 / Shot 2 / Shot 3", each saying who, where, doing what and how the camera moves, and let Seedance 2.0 set the pacing rather than fixing a length per shot.
- One camera move per shot. Standard terms such as "slow push-in", "smooth lateral tracking" or "fixed shot" work; asking for push, pull, pan and move at once makes the image unstable.
- Show emotion physically. "Fists clenched, jaw tense, chest heaving" instead of "very angry".
- End with constraint words that rule out deformities and stray elements, and keep subject descriptions free of contradictions.
A Seedance 2.0 prompt built on that formula might read: Shot 1: Wide shot of a night market in the rain, a street cook flips noodles in a flaming wok, slow push-in, warm orange light against blue neon, sizzling oil and crowd chatter. Shot 2: Close-up of the cook's hands plating the noodles, fixed shot, steam rising. Cinematic, sharp detail, no text, no extra hands.

How do I use reference images, video and audio in Seedance 2.0?
Seedance 2.0 on AIVeed accepts up to 9 reference images, 3 reference videos and 1 reference audio clip in one job, and the prompt says what to take from each (AIVeed public models endpoint, checked October 22, 2026). ByteDance's guide names inputs by number — "Image 1", "Video 1", "Audio 1" — and uses patterns such as "Reference the subject in Image 1", "Reference the camera movement in Video 1" and "Reference the timbre in Audio 1" (BytePlus ModelArk Seedance 2.0 prompt guide, checked October 22, 2026). The same guide recommends defining each subject once with 2 to 3 stable features, such as "Define the woman wearing a red dress and a straw hat in Image 1 as Subject 1", and then using that label every time. A reference video adds 200 credits to a 720p Seedance 2.0 clip on AIVeed, while reference images and audio add nothing (AIVeed public pricing endpoint, checked October 22, 2026).
What is the best way to use Seedance for AI video creation?
The best way to use Seedance for AI video creation is to give it a picture to work from — a first frame or reference images — and describe only the motion, the camera and the sound, because Seedance 2 models lock appearance from the image (BytePlus ModelArk Seedance 2.0 prompt guide, checked October 22, 2026). One developer built a whole site this way, posting on October 12, 2026: I made iconic.photos: short looping films that feel like you've stepped inside famous photographs.
and Each clip is Seedance 2.5.
(Hacker News, October 12, 2026). Our architecture video guide shows the same image-first workflow with up to 9 reference photos.
Can I use Seedance 2.0 for free?
Yes, for one clip: new AIVeed accounts get 200 free credits, which cover a Seedance 2.0 Mini clip of 10 seconds at 720p (150 credits) or a 6-second Seedance 2.0 Fast clip at 480p (150 credits) (AIVeed pricing page and public pricing endpoint, checked October 22, 2026). Before the first purchase an AIVeed account can make one video with the free credits, counted across the web app and the API (AIVeed API reference, checked October 22, 2026). Full Seedance 2.0 starts at 220 credits, so it runs on a credit pack, from the $5 / 600-credit Pilot pack upwards (AIVeed pricing page, checked October 22, 2026).
Can I use Seedance 2.0 through an API?
Yes. The AIVeed API serves Seedance 2.0 Mini, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.5 at the same credit prices as the AIVeed web app, with the frames and references sent as upload URLs (AIVeed Video API page and API reference, checked October 22, 2026). Our Seedance 2.0 API guide walks through the three calls from key to finished video.
What happens if a Seedance 2.0 video fails?
If a Seedance 2.0 video fails for a technical reason on AIVeed, the credits are refunded to the account automatically (AIVeed pricing page and API reference, checked October 22, 2026).
Methodology and verification
Verified on October 22, 2026. Credits per model, resolution and length, and the reference-video surcharges, were read from AIVeed's public pricing endpoint; lengths, resolutions, reference limits and frame support from AIVeed's public models endpoint; free credits, credit expiry and refunds from AIVeed's pricing page and API reference. Dollar figures are credits × pack price ÷ pack credits: $99 ÷ 20,000 = $0.00495 a credit on the Business pack, so 50 credits is $0.2475, shown as $0.25; $5 ÷ 600 = $0.00833 a credit on the Pilot pack. They allocate part of a purchased pack to a clip and are not a separate checkout price. Prompt advice is quoted or paraphrased from ByteDance's Dreamina Seedance 2.0 series prompt guide; the example prompt was written for this guide and was not generated, so no output is described. Steps follow AIVeed's public model page, pricing page and API reference.
