The directories
A hand-reviewed catalogue of a few hundred AI tools, sorted by category rather than ranked or upvoted. Every submission is checked by a person: they quote 48 hours for a free listing and 24 for a paid one, then email you once it is approved.
Do-follow confirmed across four live listings — the Visit link carries rel="noopener noreferrer" and there is no nofollow, sponsored or ugc anywhere on those pages. Two conditions worth knowing: they supply no badge image, only the text link above, and they state the listing stays up "as long as the backlink remains on your site", so removing this card later would cost us the listing.
A daily launch board in the Product Hunt mould — products go up dated, get upvoted, and every submission is reviewed by hand rather than published automatically. The free tier asks for a backlink on your homepage or footer and lists you within 30 days; paid tiers from $29 skip the queue and drop the link requirement.
Do-follow confirmed in the page source of another founder’s live listing — the outbound link carries only rel="noopener", with no nofollow anywhere on the page. We’ll re-check on our own listing once it goes up. Third-party trackers put Fazier around DR 81, but we haven’t verified that in Ahrefs ourselves, so the DR column stays blank.
A daily launch board for AI products, sorted into a dozen categories and ranked by upvotes. Three ways in: submit free and change nothing on your site, submit free and display their badge, or pay $9.99 to skip the queue. The two free routes are manually reviewed, which they say takes up to seven days.
The tier decides the link. We sampled eight live listings: six carried a plain rel="noopener noreferrer" and two carried nofollow, which matches SimilarLabs stating that the do-follow is what the badge or the payment buys — submit free with no badge and you can expect a no-follow. Their badge is also meant to sit on your homepage, not a resource page.
An AI tools directory running since 2023, organised as a browsable catalogue rather than a ranked leaderboard. The free tier is genuinely free, but it is explicitly a trade: ToolPilot states that a link back to their site is mandatory for every free listing, confirmed by URL or email before you go live.
Paid placement tiers exist, but the pricing lives inside an image on their submission page rather than in text, so we can’t quote it here.

Why does this page exist at all?
Plenty of directories will only list you if you link back to them. We think that’s a fair trade, so we do it — but out in the open, on a page anyone can read, with an honest write-up of each one rather than a badge dump. If a directory isn’t worth your time, we say so.
